Getting pampered at the spa on birthdays and anniversaries seems like common practice these days. Some go to Massage Envy every couple of weeks. But if you think that these special $200 treats are too much, check out this list of ridiculously indulgent treatments that hotel and resort spas offer:

1. High-Tech Facial

One of the most talked about treatments at The Peninsula Spa Beverly Hills is the Ultimate Indulgence which is a 2-hour facial that uses a diamond tip microdermabrasion, radiofrequency therapy, oxygen blast, LED therapy, electroporation, and air massage to give you a 6 in 1 treatment, all for $1,500.

2. 24-Karat Gold Mask

Gold has been used since ancient times to fight wrinkles and make the skin more radiant. Cleopatra was believed to have worn face masks with gold as part of her beauty routine. At Dubai’s Talise Ottoman Spa in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Resort, guests can book a special full day treatment which includes a milk and rose oil bath, massage using argan oil, caviar lunch and a custom-made facial mask with 24-karat gold, all for $6,800.

3. The Chakra Clearer

Ananda Spa in the Himalayas offers healing treatments like the Abhyanga (Chakra Clearer) for $70 / 55 minutes. Two masseuses will give you a luxurious four-hand massage, and pour a centuries-old oil over the forehead believed to aid in blood circulation as well as open your 3rd eye.

4. The Sulphur Seduction

The Spa at Sugar Beach Hotel offers an indulgent treatment in a nearby sulphur springs for its guests where you will be slathered with mineral-rich volcanic mud to improve blood circulation, release tight muscles, and exfoliate the skin.  After the mud treatment you will then be given a full body massage. Rate is $200 per person for 3 hours.

5. The Royal Treatment

The Spa Montage Beverly Hills in LA offers the L. Raphael Royal C Treatment which uses a top of the line oxygen machine to blast L. Raphael’s LEC-40 Complex and oxygenated Vitamin C into the skin believed to smooth wrinkles, lighten hyperpigmentation and improve your skin tone. The rate is $1,400 for a 90 minute treatment.

6. The Blessing Ritual and Beautifier

Rosewood Mayakoba’s luxurious spa in Mexico called Sense has its own island with the tropical setting. It has 12 treatment villas and one of the treatments sought after by well-heeled guests is the Kuxtal Sensory Garden Ritual which begins with a traditional Mayan blessing ritual (done by a shaman). The guests will then pick fresh herbs from the  private garden of the resort to be mixed with the oils which will then be used for their full body massage. The treatment costs $540 and it’s for 3 hours.

7. The Frequency Facial

The Spa at The Peninsula Hong Kong has a beautiful outdoor terrace and pool, along with a glass-walled sauna and crystal steam room. It has partnered with Margie Lombard for facials using high-tech skin care techniques, equipment and rare ingredients. Their Ultimate Radiance Aesthetic Facial uses ultrasound and radiofrequencies to stimulate collagen growth making the skin firmer and smoother. The facial costs $744 for 100 minutes.

8. The Wine Wrap

The Cal-A-Vie is a 200-acre wellness resort that treats each guest as a VIP. They use organic skincare products harvested from their own vineyard. The Vinotherapie Grape Skin Wrap uses Cabernet grape extract that is then applied onto the the skin, followed by a rub down with body lotion containing grapeseed extract. This treatment costs $275 and has a duration of 90 minutes. Check out this $2,000 facial.
